Arts Programme
From April 2007 he has been awarded artist in residence status by the Arts Council for his work in education and work with his Yorkshire choir SOSA-XA! Sounds of Southern Africa. He has been performing with Sunduza Dance Theatre internationally since 1992 on some of the largest stages in the UK, namely WOMAD, Edinburgh Festival, Canadian childrens festivals and UK theatres that included the Crucible, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Alhambra, London’s South Bank and stages across, Ireland, Switzerland and as far as Singapore. He also co-produced with the Sheffield Oratorio Chorus David Fanshawe's African Sanctus and continues to develop new projects with the chorus. He was recently invited by the Crucible Theatre to compose the music for their premiere of "The Leopard" (2007) which he will tour to South Yorkshire schools.
