Zambuko Izibuko Cultural Crossings

25-26 April 2009 The cultural event on 25 April 2009 is part of the Challenge working around issues of community cohesion. recognising that some of our newest community members come from Zimbabwe the event attempts to provide a platform for all local artists from different parts of Africa. As a performance and discussion forum we hope young and old alike will enjoy the workshops, films , music and theatre. Some work is still in development and the final program me will emerge closer to the date.

On Sunday 26 April there will be an opportunity to join in with percussions workshops, see the city of Sheffield or join us on a walk ino the Peak district exploring Edale.

The event has been strongly encouraged by the Britain Zimbabwe Society that supports networking and exchange links between the Uk and Zimbabwe and by Burngreave New Deal for Communities for whose financial support we are grateful. Take a look at the programme. To page 2 (directions etc)
